To usher in the New Year with a new term gives me a feeling of pleasure along with responsibility. In a world which is witnessing growth of science and technology at a sonic pace at the touch of a fingertip, it is challenging to quench the thirst of a learner. Making a new beginning with renewed fervor has culminated in this issue with a new look. The editorial board shall make a sincere attempt to improvise the journal to the ever demanding needs of quality and standard.
A stride towards success; which I want to take with all the members of the association, our readers and reviewers. A format which is redefined towards betterment of the journal is attempted. A new feature named "Cancer Conundrum" is added to look at cancer and oral cancer from a new perspective all over again with an open mind. We sincerely hope to step into the advancing century with all of you.
A word for our authors in this step, to write a technically sound content, academic article is a challenging task. Well published research papers will get you a high impact factor and citation. Some golden rules to follow are: Format the outline of your article, edit your work and use reliable references from different sources, always make it better, keep it simple with reading audience in the mind. "Your articles are imprints on the sands of time of the scientific milieu. Leave the best imprint for the future".
