Dear friends,
Greetings
We at the editorial board of ]OMFP thank Honourable Minister for Health, Dr. Anhumani Ramadoss for banning smoking scenes in visual media, as this would help in minimising the adverse impact (lie media exerts on youth andwe also thank him fir discouraging the cultivation of tobacco- We hope this will mark a beginning in eliminating the potential killer of mankind, the tobacco.
I wish the postgraduate convention, now becoming a regular affair in all the specialities of dentistry, to have hands on courses for the benefit of postgraduate students, and the lectures should be more brief' emphasising more on practical guidelines, ratherthan continuing with the stereotypic guest lectures on extensive topics.
I wish the forthcoming postgraduate convention at Bangalore a great success
With warm regards
