  It is indeed a great pleasure and honour to be the new Editor-in-chief of Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. I would first like to express my sincere appreciation to every single person who has contributed in the past to bring the journal up to its current position and it goes without saying that all the authors, editors, reviewers and readers have made this possible.
